China-Laos Railway Officially Launched

The China-Laos Railway is a railway connecting Kunming, China and Vientiane, Laos. The route starts from Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China, passes through the border ports of Yuxi, Pu'er, and Mohan in China, and then passes through the border ports of Boding, Laos, and finally arrives at Vientiane, the capital of Laos. The total length is 1035 kilometers.

On December 3, the heads of state of China and Laos issued a starting order, and the entire line of the China-Laos railway was put into operation. Since then, Laos has entered the era of railway transportation.

The opening and operation of the China-Laos railway is a landmark testimony of the "Belt and Road" China-Laos friendship. It is of great significance to intensify the economic, social and cultural cooperation and exchanges between China and Laos.

The seat and back use high-quality imported cold-rolled steel plates. The beam of the waiting seats are made of high-quality metal tube, sprayed with static power after antirust treatment, which is stable and load-bearing, and has strong safety performance.
